Get Ahead and Catch Up are several courses designed for students who would like to increase their skills and performance in English as well as keep up with their English studies over the school holidays.
Studies have shown that consistency is important when learning a foreign language. This means children should continue to hone and practise their English, even when school is not in session—and this is exactly what the Get Ahead and Catch Up courses offer!
These holiday courses are for students aged 8 to 19 who have already studied English in school. The learning materials are age and level appropriate and are designed to enhance and improve spoken English, reading, writing and grammar, as well as increase vocabulary. All this is achieved through fun and interactive activities, games and positive reinforcement during lessons as well as repeated hearing of the language at home. Students enjoying this positive learning experience will do much better in school as a result and feel more confident and enthusiastic about English when the school year begins.
